Meet Erica

Hi. I’m Erica. I teach people to live more holistic, meaningful lives. I am trained as a Naturopathic Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, Reiki Master, massage therapist, and vinyasa and kundalini yoga instructor. I have extensive training and experience in both conventional and alternative approaches to healing and have studied with masters from various traditions around the world. I am an expert in holistic healing and my approach is one of a kind.

With a strong commitment to providing accessible holistic care, I began practicing at One Medical Group in San Francisco in 2011. Over the next 8 years, in addition to my clinical practice I took on many different roles to promote integrative and lifestyle medicine within the organization. I designed wellness content for corporate partners and have delivered presentations and workshops at dozens of prominent companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2015, I served as the interim clinical director of integrative medicine at One Medical nationally.

In 2013 I began seeing patients in groups, and the profound therapeutic impact of group work changed my career. Since then I have facilitated countless transformational groups, scaled stress and anxiety programs nationally, created emotional wellbeing programs, and trained many other healthcare providers in mind-body techniques and group facilitation.

My passion for health and wellness began very young. By 19 years old, I was a certified Reiki master offering energy work to other college students. I studied anthropology and pre-med at Oberlin College, and spent my undergraduate years studying the intersection of culture and health. I traveled all over the world exploring how people in other cultures heal. Prior to my medical career, I practiced and taught massage therapy and energy work and began studying yoga and meditation as a teenager. All of these perspectives inform my work.

Working with me is not like working with most healthcare providers or coaches. I offer a uniquely holistic lens and a variety of therapeutic modalities to support you. We work in partnership and our interactions are not limited to times of physical discomfort or illness. Together we redefine what wellbeing means to you and we address the physical, mental, emotional and energetic obstacles in your way.

Seven Senses is an authentic expression of my work. It is a new paradigm of care- one where your health and your life are not separate. It is a holistic experience, where you heal, grow, gain new perspective, transcend limiting beliefs about yourself and your life and discover the creator that you are. I truly believe that everyone has the ability to thrive, and when we are all in this state our collective potential is infinite.

The Work

Healing is the journey to wholeness. At Seven Senses we believe that you have the ability to heal yourself and we partner with you in that process. Health is a dynamic continuum, and a complex intersection of physical, mental, emotional and energetic phenomena. Whether we are working individually or in a group setting, we address all of these phenomena, as well as the relationships, beliefs and cultural understandings that influence them. The Seven Senses approach is truly holistic, drawing from from evidence-based and integrative medicine, traditional and contemporary healing practices and clairvoyant awareness. The healing journey is a universal human experience and a life-long process. We are committed to making that process meaningful and empowering for all.

Group Experiences

We believe that human connection is an integral part of wellbeing. Together, we can explore ourselves more deeply through the reflective lens of each other. We have all experienced feeling isolated in our lives. Through the dynamics of the group, our isolation dissolves as we realize that our stories, though individual, share the same themes.

Our experiences are an opportunity to step away from your daily routine, reflect on who you are, the life you have created and discover something new. It is an invitation to consider your intentions, your authentic desires and let them guide your future.
