Hi. I’m Erica Matluck. I am a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in California and a Nurse Practitioner in California and New York. I have extensive training in both conventional and alternative approaches to care and am an expert in integrative medicine and non-pharmacologic management of anxiety.

With a strong commitment to providing accessible holistic care, I began practicing at One Medical in San Francisco in 2011. Over the next 6 years, in addition to my clinical practice I took on many different roles to promote integrative and lifestyle medicine within what has become the largest primary care organization in the country. I designed wellness content for our corporate partners and have delivered presentations and workshops at dozens of prominent companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2015, I served as the interim clinical director of integrative medicine at One Medical.

In 2013 I began seeing patients in groups, and the profound therapeutic impact of group work changed my career. Since then I have facilitated countless transformational groups, scaled stress and anxiety programs at One Medical nationally, created and launched an emotional wellbeing program, and trained many other providers in mind-body techniques and group facilitation. I continue to co-lead this service at One Medical nationally.

While my work at One Medical has largely impacted me as a provider, so have my earlier experiences. My passion for health and wellness began very young. By 19 years old, I was a certified Reiki master offering energy work to other students while completing my undergraduate degree. I studied anthropology and pre-med at Oberlin so I could explore the intersection of culture and health. This deep interest in how people in other cultures heal has and continues to fuel my passion for travel. Prior to my medical career, I spent a decade studying, practicing and teaching massage therapy and energy work throughout the world. I’m also a yoga instructor and a trained clairvoyant. All of these perspectives inform my work.

As a provider I am committed to lifelong learning and growth, so when I observe unmet needs in the people I work with, I respond by gaining tools to better support them. I have been studying Gestalt techniques at the Esalen Institute for many years and am currently obtaining a certificate in sex therapy and education at CIIS.

Working with me is not like working with most healthcare providers. I offer a uniquely holistic lens and a variety of therapeutic modalities to support you. We work in partnership and our interactions are not limited to times of physical discomfort or illness. Together we redefine what wellbeing means to you and we address the physical, mental, emotional and energetic aspects of your experience to get you there.

Seven Senses is an authentic expression of my work. It is a new paradigm of care- one where healthcare is about so much more than physical and mental discomfort. It is a holistic experience- one where your medical care is an opportunity to learn about yourself as you heal, grow, expand your idea of what wellness is and fully embody it. It is an empowering experience where you will learn how to master the mind-body connection and heal yourself. I truly believe that optimal wellbeing is attainable for everyone and when we are all in this state our collective potential is infinite.
